The division is related to the department of the administrative vice_chncellor. The division consist of the following units : unit of machinery, unit of agricultural, and unit of stations
The division of maintenance is responsible about the maintenance of electricity of the buildings, water pipes, sewerages, electrical hardware especially air-conditioner, fridges, and water pumps. The division is also responsible about rain water drainage, and maintenance of the stations of heavy water . sustaining water tanks of housing units, maintenance fountains, furniture, and communicate with the responsible authorities. .
Machinery division supplies the gas for the vehicles of the university. The university has a fuel station provided with gas by the state company of oil. The division is responsible about giving shares for the vehicles and generators of the university. The division makes periodical surveys to the field to check the generators for determining the need of fuel. The division also organizes the vehicles for transporting employees of the university and decide their share of fuel. The university has 30 vehicle transport the employees from the different parts of Babylon city. Documenting the data of fuel and maintenance of vehicles in paper and electronic records. Train the new drivers to follow the rules of safety and checking the cars when receiving and delivering. .
The division of agriculture takes care of the aesthetic side of the university by taking care and developing the gardens of the university. Following up trimming of the trees and cleaning the green fields. Plantation of flowers, ornamental trees, trees, and taking care the irrigation system in the university.
Stations division is responsible about sustaining water pumps in addition to the mainlines of pure water, and sewage water. Maintenance of electricity boards, electricity lines, the main station of pumping water in addition to the maintenance of pure water station inside the university. The division is also responsible about the maintenance of the water tank inside the university, installing the automatic operating system for organizing the water flow to the university.
